Studijski posjet Óbuda sveučilištu i Engame akademiji u Budimpešti

U okviru novog projekta STEM Inženjeri budućnosti, koji je pokrenut u ožujku 2025., predstavnici IPMA udruge –  dr.sc. Kristijan Robert Prebanić, Filip Ivančić i Kristina Koret – ostvarili su studijski posjet dvjema istaknutim institucijama u Budimpešti: Óbuda sveučilištu i Engame akademiji. Cilj posjeta bio je umrežavanje, razmjena dobrih praksi i jačanje suradnje u popularizaciji STEM područja. IPMA Hrvatska udruga je posvećena razvoju znanja i vještina u području upravljanja projektima, s naglaskom na edukaciju i međunarodnu suradnju. Kroz projekte poput STEM Inženjeri budućnosti aktivno povezuje projektni menadžment i STEM s naglaskom na inženjerstvo i građevinu.

Dana 25. kolovoza održan je uvodni sastanak na Óbuda sveučilištu, jednom od vodećih tehničkih sveučilišta u Mađarskoj, poznatom po bogatom znanstveno-istraživačkom radu i snažnoj internacionalizaciji. Na sastanku su sudjelovali:

  • dr. sc. Zsombor Zrubka, MBA, direktor Centra za istraživanje i inovacije
  • Zoltan Marton, direktor mađarske STEAM platforme
  • Sandor Kirchof, predstavnik projekata SOBER i STEMCRAFT

Dodatno, svoja su iskustva podijelili i eminentni stručnjaci iz područja STEM obrazovanja i istraživačkih metoda:

  • prof. dr. sc. Zsolt Lavicza, direktor STEM doktorske škole na Johannes Kepler sveučilištu u Linzu
  • prof. dr. Kristof Fenyvesi, direktor globalne STEM mreže Experience Workshop i viši istraživač Sveučilišta Jyväskylä

Óbuda sveučilište kroz svoje projekte i aktivnosti aktivno doprinosi razvoju STEM obrazovanja na nacionalnoj i internacionalnoj razini, a posebno se ističe u radu s mladima kroz bogatu lepezu EU projekata te kroz članstvo u Europskoj STEM Koaliciji.

Posjet Engame akademiji

Sljedećeg dana, 26. kolovoza, predstavnici IPMA-e posjetili su Engame akademiju, gdje su se sastali s:

  • Ritom Nádas, voditeljicom odjela obrazovanja
  • Péterom Klauszom, pedagoškim direktorom
  • Virág Keresztes, voditeljica vanjskih odnosa

Engame akademija usmjerena je na podršku srednjoškolskom obrazovanju u Mađarskoj i svijetu, stvarajući čvrste temelje za razvoj karijere mladih. Kroz inovativne obrazovne programe priprema učenike za tržište rada, internacionalne karijere te ih motivira za uključivanje u STEM područje kao odgovor na potrebe budućih vještina i zanimanja.

Zajednički ciljevi i rezultati

Studijski posjeti i sastanci s obje institucije omogućili su razmjenu iskustava i dobrih praksi u promociji STEM-a, razvoju edukativnih programa i provedbi EU projekata vezanih uz mlade i obrazovanje.
Poseban naglasak stavljen je na:

  • upoznavanje s najnovijim trendovima u STEM obrazovanju i inženjerstvu
  • razvoj interdisciplinarne i međunarodne suradnje
  • prilagodbu obrazovnih metoda potrebama tržišta rada
  • poticanje cjeloživotnog učenja trenera, nastavnika i mladih

Projekt STEM Inženjeri budućnosti nastavlja graditi mostove između obrazovnih institucija, organizacija i stručnjaka na nacionalnoj i internacionalnoj razini kako bi mladima otvorio put prema interdisciplinarnom, međunarodnom i održivom razvoju.

STEM Engineers of the Future – Study Visit to Óbuda University and Engame Academy in Budapest

As part of the new project STEM Engineers of the Future, launched in March 2025, representatives of the IPMA Association – Kristijan Robert Prebanić, Filip Ivančić, and Kristina Koret – carried out a study visit to two renowned institutions in Budapest: Óbuda University and Engame Academy. The purpose of the visit was networking, exchanging good practices, and strengthening cooperation in the promotion of STEM fields. IPMA Croatia is an association dedicated to developing knowledge and skills in the field of project management, with a strong focus on education and international cooperation. Through projects such as STEM Engineers of the Future, it actively connects project management with STEM, with particular emphasis on engineering and construction.

Visit to Óbuda University

On 25 August, an introductory meeting was held at Óbuda University, one of Hungary’s leading technical universities, recognized for its extensive research activities and strong international orientation.
Participants included:

  • Dr. Zsombor Zrubka, MBA, Director of the Research and Innovation Center
  • Zoltan Marton, Director of the Hungarian STEAM Platform
  • Sandor Kirchof, representative of the SOBER and STEMCRAFT projects

In addition, distinguished experts in STEM education and research methods shared their experiences:

  • Prof. Dr. Zsolt Lavicza, Director of the STEM Doctoral School at Johannes Kepler University in Linz
  • Prof. Dr. Kristof Fenyvesi, Director of the global STEM network Experience Workshop and Senior Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä

Through its projects and initiatives, Óbuda University plays an active role in advancing STEM education both nationally and internationally. The university stands out particularly in its work with young people, supported by a wide range of EU projects and through its membership in the European STEM Coalition.

Visit to Engame Academy

On the following day, 26 August, the IPMA representatives visited Engame Academy, where they met with:

  • Péter Klausz, Director of Education
  • Virág Keresztes, External Relations Manager

Engame Academy is dedicated to supporting secondary education in Hungary and worldwide, laying strong foundations for young people’s career development. Through innovative educational programs, the academy prepares students for the labor market and international careers while motivating them to engage in STEM as a response to the skills and professions of the future.

Shared Goals and Outcomes

The study visits and meetings with both institutions enabled the exchange of knowledge and good practices in STEM promotion, educational program development, and implementation of EU projects focused on youth and education.

Key areas of focus included:

  • exploring the latest trends in STEM education and engineering
  • fostering interdisciplinary and international cooperation
  • adapting teaching methods to labor market needs
  • encouraging lifelong learning among trainers, teachers, and young people

The STEM Engineers of the Future project continues to build bridges between educational institutions, organizations, and experts at both national and international levels, opening pathways for young people towards interdisciplinary, global, and sustainable development.
